Open Back Style - Casual Way

Do you love an open back style?

It is understandable that as much as we love this rather secretly(?)j sexy style, you still need some courage or special event to pull this off. That said, as much as we love celebrities and stars, we need to understand and appreciate that they bare all for the sake of our entertainment and their fame comes with the price. Look at the Met Gala for example. Simply say, no pain no gain.

Before I get too carried away and silly for an open back style introduction, let's go back to the style talk. A lot of times, actually most of the time, our backs are underrated, hidden under the garment. Socially speaking, showing your back to someone isn't generally a good manner, however in this case, feel free to show your hidden asset!  Especially now when the weather is heating up and it is a perfect time to un-curtain and flaunt your hidden asset - sexy back!

Whether it is a deep plunging open back dress or shirt, it is fun, sensual and stylish, and a great way to vent your hotness(?) when it is too hot to handle.

When talking about styling an open back style, leave the front side design rather plain and simple, or even fully closed so that the front and back sides do not complete. Too much or too little revealing will fail to impress looking rather trying too hard or not enough.

All said, I really love this street style with a cute lacing open back blouse,  folded/cropped jeans or wide leg pants, and a pair of mule slides. Add some bohemian tassel earrings, a simple flap bag to add finishing touch to this around the town and carefree style. Jeans are great for almost everything but all kinds of wide leg pants and flowy skirts, both solid color or prints work here. As for the shoes, stick with flats - slides, ballet flats or espadrilles to keep the look rather casual than all dressed up.

SUGGESTED OPEN BACK PIECES

Choose classic pieces that adopt an open back feature to keep the casualness and easy of styling. Tops with lace-up or bow tie open back to secure your back exposure. Or long stripe or print boho dress with open back to balance between the sensuality and classy-ness.

SUGGESTED PANTS & SKIRTS

Other than jeans, preferably cropped and wide leg pants or long satin skirt in solid or prints both work, and these style never really go out of style.

SUGGESTED MULE SLIDES & FLATS

Rather than high heels and dressy shoes, stay with flats, slides and espadrille but with interesting details like bows and prints, and lace-up espadrille to complete the look. When hotter, choose sandals!

SUGGESTED BAGS

Simple and classic flap or camera bags or mini shopper tote give more mobility and chic factor to this look. Around the town, brunch dates, weekend shopping or vacation strolls around the town, carrying your essentials in more compact way, not to heavy.

SUGGESTED ACCESSORIES

Add fun bohemian earrings or accessories to complement the open back style. Tassel or drop earrings that go with the lacing or bow tie. Vintage antique look jewelry to match the carefree style or vintage elegance.

Sunglasses are a must for around the town and street style. Try sunglasses with color tinted lenses or sparkly frames depending on your individual style.
