Are you tired of a long makeup routine? Me, too. Sometimes when I watch some makeup videos that get too long with many steps and overdone, I just move on with my life. It is more that I don't have time for this than being lazy. Maybe that's why tik-tok is having the time of its life.
So, let's keep this 5 minute or less. This trend has always been around but especially became pretty popular some years back when the Bobbi Brown came out with Pot Rouge and Benefit tints hype.
So how do we do this?
Add some dots over your lips and cheeks then smudge with your fingers until you look flushed. Don't take more than 5 minutes to do this… or you would be overdoing it. Just imagine that you have a sudden visitor outside waiting for you and you only have 5 minutes to look presentable. What would you do? Tidy up your hair, apply lipstick & pinch your cheeks? There you go.
There are many good products out there for this and I have used some of them as well but these days, I just use one of my red or pink lipsticks, dotting over my lips and cheeks then smudge with my fingers. For this, try to use creamy or moisturizing lipsticks, not the matte ones.
Keep it natural. Spend 5 minutes or less. You are now a 5 minute beauty! Aren't you proud of yourself for achieving something within 5 minutes of your day?

There are Two Types of Lips & Cheeks Tints Products: Liquid Tints & Creamy / Balmy Tints. Liquid versions are mostly water based with stain like properties, it sips in and blends like water while creamy and balmy ones are like oil based with some type of coverage and glossy look.
These products were developed and slowly started replacing those traditional power blushes and lipsticks that have clumpy and cake-ish finishes when the rise of the healthy and glowing beauty trend met beauty balms and lip/highlighter glosses with multi-functionality/application. Most of the products are usable for not only lips and cheeks but also on eyes and face contouring.
Because at the end of the day, we all want some colors on our face, to look flushed and lively adding some definition. How we deliver the results is all up to us by whichever way that works for each of us. That said, my 5 minute beauty might be different from yours. Do whatever way or products that work for you to make yourself beautiful but you only have 5 minutes.

As mentioned, I just use one of my moisturizing red or pink shades of lipsticks. This one from YSL has a subtle shine and balmy texture that glides pretty well on lips and cheeks. Color shades come and go by trend but from time to time I grab a couple of them when they have 2-for-One lipstick sales which is a pretty cool deal to try different shades.
