Metallic Pastels: Illuminate the Prettiness

Now seems to be a perfect time to illuminate in pretty pastels for some winter glow. Winter glow is all about icy and ethereal illumination mixed with on-going glowing beauty trends. And metallic pastels are perfect for that while we wait for the Spring.

This year, violet colors are taking off. Lilac, Lavender, Pink, Dusty Rose and one of Pantone Colors of 2018 - Ultra Violet. These colors are already popping up everywhere as also seen in many of S/S 2018 collections.

Add pearly eyeshadows in lilac and lavender hues. Sweep around top and bottom of your lashline. Or add silver metallic illuminating toppers for full illumination to eyes and also lips. Keep the face powder fresh with defined/neat eyebrows.

EASY : Sweep around top and bottom of lashlines as you normally do with eye shadows.

FULL : Go all over lid and along eye socket for full effect. Use Eye shadow primer prior to shadow application. Use patting motion than brushing/sweeping when applying, for better color pigmentation and also shadow stays put.
